Marty Hill has been in full-time technical ministry since 1995, but has been around ministry for most of his entire life. Having grown up in the church, being saved in 1967, he got his music degree to become a band director from the North Texas State University, now the University of North Texas, in 1980. He and his wife, Lavonne, married in 1982 and have three children and two grandchildren at the time of this writing. Marty has been on the technical side of ministry of several churches, having titles of media director, technical director and producer, leading teams of full-time and part-time staff and large teams of volunteers, where he says gets his greatest joy. He has also been involved in ministry by singing, playing several instruments, including trombone, piano or keys, and as orchestra conductor, choir director and worship leader. He has produced a great number of videos for worship and has been contracted for freelance work by several companies. Beyond video, he is also music composer and arranger, going back on his music degree roots. He says he has seen God do many things, and that his faith grows daily, adding that when people asks for his testimony, he has to ask, “Which one?”
